Five On Friday 1/31

Is anyone else incredibly excited the weekend is here?  I am ready for a little thaw from this freezing cold weather and watching the Super Bowl (ok, really just eating all the yummy food).

So what better what to start off the weekend but with a little Five on Friday!

One // Our Charla Ankle Wedge Booties

These booties are just so dang cute and comfy.  I am sometimes a little skeptical of wedge booties, but I love the contrast of the It is like no other shoe in my closet and that made it a must buy in my book.  I wore these booties with our Black All the Ways Zippered Dolman,   and our Perfect Day Jeans cuffed and it gave the outfit the perfect pop.  You could even pair these with tights and a dress! The options are endless.

Two // Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil

I have been a long time believer in washing my face with oil!  I have been using this product now for a few years and swear by it.  Whenever I run out and use something else I notice a huge difference.  It’s made with Jasmine Flower Extract and other moisturizing oils to remove impurities and hydrate skin.  A little bit goes a long way and this bottle will last months. Just rub onto dry skin and rinse with warm water.  This has actually helped my oily skin so don’t be afraid to try facial oils if you have oily skin. I even follow this up with another oil  from Beauty Counter

Three // Love in the Time of Cholera

I was determined to read some amazing non work related books while on our vacation and this one was recommended to me.  While it was not a light or easy read by any means it was a beautiful and heartbreaking love story and worth a read

“This shining and heartbreaking novel may be one of the greatest love stories ever told.” --The New York Times Book Review

Four // Going Gray Hoodie

This cold weather just makes me want to stay in comfy clothes.  I am going to pretend that is the reason at least.

This hoodie is perfect for lazy weekends and at just $16 it's also perfect on your wallet!

Five: Instacart

One of my goals for this year is to be intentional and mindful of my time.  I found myself stretched too thin at the end of 2018 trying to do it all. I decided to make some changes and one of those ways was passing off the grocery shopping to someone else.  Ya’ll, Instacart is a lifesaver. I would find myself at the store scrambling to put together meals, forgetting ingredients and let’s be honest, throwing Oreos into my cart more often than I care to admit.  While the service isn’t free, I have come to realize time is money, and money spent to make our busy lives easier is money well spent in my book.
